Our joint Forum will take place during the Spill Asia event (23 - 25 September)
Join OSRL, Ipieca, and IOGP in Singapore on 24 September for a one-day regional OSRL Forum, where members will come together to explore key developments in oil spill preparedness and response. This event provides an opportunity to connect with our specialists, share insights, and engage in meaningful discussions that support global readiness.
What to expect
This OSRL-Ipieca-IOGP Forum will focus specifically on the regional needs of the oil and gas industry, where expectations for spill preparedness and response are considerably high. We will be inviting members of OSRL, Ipieca, and IOGP to join us for a programme consisting of the following themes:
- Reflection on pivotal incidents and how they’ve shaped spill preparedness and response over the last 15 years;
- Recognising the importance of prevention and risk reduction, alongside response, through the application of industry good practice and lessons learned.
- Showcase regional programmes and industry initiatives that have helped influence response readiness;
- Anticipating the emerging challenges and identifying the next phase of industry preparedness in the region.
Spill Asia is part of the triennial series of spill conferences, consisting of Interspill (in the EMEA region) and IOSC (in the Americas). Together, these events provide a global platform for oil spill prevention, preparedness, and response for industry leaders, governments, and NGOs to share research and tackle emerging marine pollution challenges.
