Fort Lauderdale base relocation for enhanced global readiness

In a strategic move aimed at enhancing global readiness and operational efficiency, OSRL Fort Lauderdale has officially made the move from Stirling Road to Sunrise, Florida. This relocation marks a new chapter in our ongoing commitment to maintaining world-class oil spill preparedness and rapid response capabilities.

The Stirling site has served our organisation for many years, playing a pivotal role in numerous successful and safe exercises and real-world responses. Since 1991, Clean Caribbean & Americas (CCA) has operated out of 2381 Stirling Road. Following OSRL’s merger with CCA in 2013, we have continued to grow our presence at this location. In 2016, we expanded into a neighbouring unit at Stirling Road to support our increasing operational needs.

The new facility is suited for safe and quick equipment deployment, hands-on training simulations, and hosting events with stakeholders. With more space, a better layout, and improved access to our equipment, the Sunrise base is designed to support faster mobilisation and more efficient operations.

This move represents our continued investment in safety, excellence, preparedness, and collaboration to help support our members.
