With over 25 years of experience in the shipping, oil, and energy sectors, Lee is a commercially focused senior leader specialising in business development, revenue growth, and strategic market expansion. As Preparedness Solutions Manager for the EMEA region, he leads a team of eight professionals to strengthen global customer relationships and optimise service offerings across the region.
Lee's expertise spans commercial strategy, high-value contract negotiations, and stakeholder engagement. He has successfully led initiatives in regulatory compliance, crisis management, and oil spill preparedness. His ability to identify new opportunities and develop long-term partnerships has been instrumental in OSRL’s continued growth.
A firm believer in collaboration and trust, Lee prioritises understanding customer needs to deliver tailored preparedness solutions. His strategic oversight has helped OSRL enhance customer retention, drive service excellence, and establish itself as a market leader in oil spill response and preparedness.
As Chair of the UK and Ireland Spill Association, Lee has been integral in influencing good practices in the oil and energy industry. He is passionate about continuous improvement and industry development and enjoys speaking at international emergency response and crisis preparedness conferences. He also mentors professionals in the field, sharing his expertise to develop the next generation of leaders.
Having always been interested in personal improvement and fitness, Lee has gained several qualifications in a variety of sports over the years, including sailing, windsurfing, and climbing. More recently, he has been focused on endurance cycling and has participated in multi-day mountain bike events, such as crossing the Pyrenees from coast to coast. Lee enjoys the challenge of pushing his limits, much like in his professional life, where continuous improvement and resilience are key.
