Shetlands Response Exercise (UK)

Join us in the Shetlands for a multi‑day spill response exercise focused on strengthening offshore, shoreline and wildlife response preparedness and coordination.

We’re delivering a multi-day spill response exercise designed to strengthen offshore, shoreline, and wildlife response capabilities. The programme brings together theory, tabletop scenarios, and hands-on field activities to enhance operational readiness and coordination.

Participants will refresh SCAT knowledge, take part in wildlife response planning exercises, and practise practical deployment techniques including harbour and vessel-based booming, equipment familiarisation, and shoreline operations.

We welcome external organisations to join us—whether you're an operator, contractor, or governmental agency, your involvement will support collaboration and enhance regional readiness for inland incidents.
