Offshore spill response equipment packages are available, designed to complement each other to provide an integrated offshore containment and recovery response solution. All equipment packages are stored in DNV (Det Norske Veritas) offshore containers, which are specialised containers built to DNV standards.

The package:

Containment is a two-vessel technique best suited for situations where there is a high percentage of surface oil coverage before oil begins to fragment. This system provides a robust offshore boom solution designed for effective oil containment in deep-water environments.

Best for:

Deep-water offshore oil spills where a two-vessel containment technique is required to control and contain surface oil before fragmentation occurs.

What's included: 

• Offshore boom – designed for containment in open water conditions.
• Hydraulic boom reel – enables fast deployment and retrieval.
• Air inflator – ensures rapid boom inflation for quicker containment.
• Tow bridles – connects booms securely to response vessels.

The package:

This package includes robust offshore weir skimmers with optional oleophilic attachments for efficient oil recovery. The hydraulically driven recovery system is powered by a diesel power pack, providing robust performance in demanding offshore conditions. This package includes all necessary ancillaries, such as guide ropes, buoys, hoses, and personal protective equipment (PPE).
