
OSRL is pleased to announce the appointment of Jim O’Leary, Vice President of Wells Integration at BP, as the new Non‑Executive Chair of its Board of Directors.
Jim brings over 30 years of global experience in wells engineering, operations, and leadership. Since joining BP in 1992, he has held a wide range of senior roles across the UK, Alaska, Gulf of Mexico, North America Gas, and North Africa. Most recently, he was appointed VP Wells North Sea, Mauritania, Senegal & Brazil. He also led BP’s global implementation of recommendations following the Deepwater Horizon incident, reflecting a strong focus on safety and operational improvement.
Jim succeeds André Goffart (TotalEnergies), who has served as Chair since 2024. During his tenure, André provided steady guidance through a period of strategic transformation and supported OSRL’s leadership transition.
