Recently, we have seen increased demand for our OPRC Level 2 training course and, as a result, we have added an additional On-Scene Commander (OPRC Level 2) Offshore and Shoreline course in Southampton, UK.
Taking place from 19 to 22 October 2026, the course is designed for personnel who may assume a supervisory or management role during an oil spill response and need to coordinate response activities in line with recognised industry good practice.
Southampton training opportunity added
This additional course has been scheduled in response to continued interest in OPRC Level 2 training and provides another opportunity for participants to secure a place before the end of the year.
Delivered face-to-face in Southampton, the course combines practical exercises, scenario-based learning and incident management principles to help participants develop the skills required to perform the role of On-Scene Commander during offshore and shoreline incidents.

The On-Scene Commander (OPRC Level 2) Offshore and Shoreline course is suitable for responders, incident management personnel and others involved in spill preparedness and response planning.
Participants will gain a deeper understanding of response management, coordination, communication and decision-making within a spill response environment.
