This course includes IMS 100, IMS 200 and IMS 300, providing a structured learning journey from IMS fundamentals through to managing expanding and complex incidents.

IMS 300 enhances participants' capability, equipping them with the knowledge and practical skills needed to manage escalating incidents efficiently and confidently.

While many incidents may not require full IMS activation, understanding how a functioning IMS operates provides a structured approach to managing all aspects of a major response. Experience has shown that IMS is a critical success factor in establishing command, control and coordination during complex oil spill incidents.

Designed for personnel involved in incident response, this instructor-led, face-to-face course combines theory with practical exercises to help participants apply IMS principles during expanding incidents. Through realistic scenarios and group activities, participants will explore how incident management structures evolve as response complexity increases.
